Checklist and tips for incoming PhDs at Forest & Landscape

On our website we have gathered tips and a checlist for incoming PhD students who are non-Danish citizens.

 

This document is intended to highlight the most important tasks you will encounter during your first month in Copenhagen. Please note that the LIFE website and other indicated webpages include further information regarding living and working in Denmark.

 

Pre-arrival checklist

You will find relevant information about how you:

 

• Obtain your work permit
• Line up initial housing arrangement
• Complete your Ph.D. application forms and contract
• which items you may want to bring to Denmark.

First month checklist

During the first month in Copenhagen you may also find it usefull to now how you:

 

• Pick up work permit
Apply for Cpr number
• Register for appropiate tax deduction
• Set up bank account in Denmark
• start as an employee at Forest & Landscape
• use other additional tips.
