Research in Landscape and Cities

Landskab og byer

Our research comprises:

We study how nature can create different types of values to society and how the settings in which we live, work and recreate can become more attractive and sustainable.

We also do research on how landscape and cities can be designed and managed to create the best possible conditions for people as well as for wildlife.

In addition, our work looks at how cities and landscapes provide the frame for attractive and healthy living environments, and at how they provide the foundations for cultural development and economic activity.

Our research comprises both fundamental and applied science and is used in education, consultancy and dissemination to public authorities and the private sector.
