Map on social dimensions of climate change

This interactive map is developed in order to provide and share scientific literature and other information on climate change vulnerability and adaptation in selected regions of the world.

Click on the map to open the interactive version (it might take ten seconds to load -  to view the map in full screen you might need to use the "refresh" button).


The map consists of various clickable data points providing suggestions to scientific articles and links related to climate change adaptation in the specific countries. The points relate to Adaptation and Vulnerability (red point), Land-use (yellow point), Water (blue points) and Forest (green point). Additionally, Conflict issues are indicated by grey points and cover various aspects of conflict related to climate change.

 

Search on scientific articles for the map is primarily performed using the databases CAB Abstracts and Web of Science. Articles are critically selected within the fields of human and social dimensions of climate change. The map is updated monthly with addition of new scientific literature. Latest update is posted in "About the Map".
