Funding
The FSC-sink project is funded by the NordForsk organisation that supports the cooperation on research and researcher training in the Nordic region.
Contributing Research Programmes
- BECC (Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in a Changing Climate). The programme will finance research related to C-N interactions in soil, microbial dynamics and soil processes as related to C sequestration and dynamic ecosystem modeling.
- LUCCI, Centre of Studies of Carbon Cycle and Climate Interactions. The programme will finance research related to projects about the role of ectomycorrhizal fungi in carbon sequestration in forests and the effects of ectomycorrhizal colonization on N leaching.
- SCARP, Swedish Clean Air Research Programme, financed by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. The programme finances modelling of C and N processes with the dynamic ForSAFE model in well-investigated experimental sites.
- The Biofuel Programme financed by the Swedish Energy Agency, which finances several projects of the Lund team, e.g. a project on the effects of N fertilization on mycorrhiza.
- A PhD project which is an integrated part of the FSC-sink project is funded partially by the NordForsk and partially by the University of Copenhagen.
