Research in Economics, Policy and Management Planning
Our research comprises:
Our research covers a wide range of social science based questions and methods concerning people’s use of and relationship to the environment and to forests and nature areas across the world.
We provide a deeper understanding of the causes of the current use and management of forests, nature areas and the environment at large. On this basis we suggest new and more sustainable approaches to the management and use of these elements in policy and planning.
Our work embrases empirical questions and cases ranging from people’s environmental behaviour, over environmental valuation to the regulation and management of forests and nature areas.
