The specialization builds upon two compulsory 15 ECTS point courses, Theory and Method in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Planning a number of optional courses and a 30 ECTS points Thesis.
Urban Design links strategic approaches with design interventions and gives a solid foundation in ecological urbanism.
The specialization is structured as two 7,5 ECTS points courses in Theories of Urban Design and Urban Ecosystems followed by a 15 ECTS point course, The Urbanism Studio, optional courses and a 30 ECTS points Thesis.
Park Management concentrates on the socio-political and organisational aspects of parks management and planning, with health design as a particular focus area.
The two 15 ECTS points courses Urban Forestry & Urban Greening and Health Design constitutes the basis of this specialization along with optional courses and the 30 ECTS points Thesis.
Optional courses
In addition to the compulsory courses on the specialisations optional courses will make up the remaining 60 ECTS points.
It is common for students to choose compulsory courses from the other specializations as at least some of their optional courses.
